RE-ELECT ADAM GARVIN
for McMinnville City Council Ward 3
3rd Generation McMinnville native Adam Garvin got his first taste of civic engagement at age 19 when he began a stint as a volunteer for the McMinnville Fire Department. From there he has broadened his community involvement to include serving on the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Treasurer of McMinnville Jaycees, Board Member of the McMinnville Noon Kiwanis Club, pyrotechnician of our local fireworks show, and member of the McMinnville Chamber Government Affairs Council.
Adam decided to run for City Council after attending council meetings regularly for four years. He won the election in November 2016 and joined Councilor Remy Drabkin in representing Ward 3.
“I am committed to an open and transparent process promoting a flourishing city and economic prosperity for many generations to come. Our city provides a unique atmosphere and culture. I will honor the legacy of my predecessors while keeping a keen eye on strategic innovation and growth opportunities moving forward.”
Adam’s entrepreneurial spirit was rewarded 12+ years ago when he successfully established his full-time business, Garvin Auto Spa. In 2019, he launched a small car dealership, Garvin Motors. When not tending to business matters or civic duties, Adam enjoys outdoor activities. An avid Portland Trail Blazers and Timbers fan, you can likely catch him at one of their many home games throughout the season. Adam resides in northeast McMinnville with his fiancé Trish, sons Aidan & Carter, and their beloved German Shepherd & Silver Lab, Carrera & Bentley.
"The first two years of my initial term were spent working through the development of the Mac Town 2032 strategic plan, now it is time for the rubber to meet the road and implement the vision community stakeholders came together in formalizing that plan."
"Its been a pleasure to serve the citizens of Ward 3 and the City of McMinnville as a whole. I look forward to getting the chance to discuss my record and accomplishments as we approach the November general election."
